On December 27, the China Tongren Precision Poverty Alleviation Index Report (2019) was officially released.
The report analyzes and evaluates six aspects from accurate support objects, accurate measures to households, accurate village assignments, accurate project arrangements, accurate fund use, and accurate poverty alleviation results. It objectively demonstrates Tongren's poverty reduction practice process and intuitively quantifies Tongren's precise poverty alleviation results .
The "Report" pointed out that in 2018, China's Tongren Precision Poverty Alleviation Index was 91.77 points, an increase of 14.28% over the previous year. Since 2012, the index has shown a rapid upward trend year by year, with an average annual growth rate of 28.13%. In 2018, the poverty-stricken population in Tongren City was reduced to 165,600, and the net poverty alleviation population in the whole year was 165,500, and 553 poverty-stricken villages were listed. The incidence of poverty dropped from 38.75% in 2012 to 4.4% in 2018. Per capita disposable income of rural residents is 9,267 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10%. In 2018, Tongren City's poverty alleviation work is on the road to achieving the great victory of a well-off society in an all-round way. In order to ensure that by 2020 China's current standards of rural poor people can achieve poverty alleviation, the great historical node will be the foundation and pillars.
China Tongren Precision Poverty Alleviation Index has been released since 2016, and this is the fourth time this year. In the past four years, the index evaluated Tongren's poverty alleviation measures and its effectiveness, accurately measured Tongren's poverty alleviation work, and provided a reference scale for winning the fight against poverty.
